Limited Goverment 

Big government overreach does not solve the problems of the people. I cherish our liberties and believe we should never rely on government for more than absolutely necessary. Elected officials must understand the proper role of government, stepping in only when appropriate, and always in a way that does not trample on our God-given rights and freedoms.
 
Limited government does not mean the absence of government. When local government fails to protect their citizens, fails to uphold the law, or safeguard basic rights, the state has the responsibility to intervene.
